MMCA Services was founded to give small and mid-sized businesses the kind of calm, on-top-of-it finance function that usually only larger companies enjoy. No surprise fees. No last-minute panics at year-end. Numbers that tell you something useful about the business, not just satisfy HMRC.
Over the past decade we've helped sole traders, limited companies and charities across the UK — and increasingly EU-based clients — move from spreadsheet chaos to clean, audit-ready books. Along the way we've picked up deep expertise in the ERP platforms our clients depend on, and, more recently, in the responsible application of AI to finance and operations.

Plain English
If you can't explain a tax position clearly, you probably don't understand it well enough. We avoid jargon and always show our working.
Fixed fees
No open-ended hourly rates. You know what things cost before we start — and we honour that quote unless scope changes.
Tool-agnostic
Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE, SAP S/4HANA, INFOR and our own HiveOrbis, HiveMTD and HivePayroll — we recommend the platform that fits the business, not the one that pays us commission.
Security first
Client data stays in UK/EU data centres. No uploads to public AI services. Least-privilege access for every engagement.
Independence, integrity, due care.
MMCA Services follows the IESBA / ICAEW ethical framework for accountants: integrity, objectivity, professional competence and due care, confidentiality, and professional behaviour. These aren't boilerplate — they determine which engagements we'll accept and how we'll push back when a client proposes something we don't think is right.
